2 anglers shared over 42 carp to 61lbs
2 x teens, 2 x twenties, 8 x thirties, 17 x forties, 12 fifties & 1 sixty (61lbs, lake record for one week)
We fished a large central baited area, and opted to just stalk up in the shallow arms. Most of the fish came to simple solid PVA bags, short 35lb soft braid KD style rigs and different types of small 10-12mm home made wafter type baits.
We used around 75-80kg rolled bait during the week. Deciding to fish as a team with no other anglers on the lake we spread approximately 10kg of 22mm home made mixed fishmeal and nut boilies per day across a wide area. with some maize and hemp to start. Midweek we switched over to boilies only and I think this produced steadier action. We probably fished half the time and rested the lake the other. Most fish came in the late evening to early hours.
